inspiration and goals
"Embrace Your Nonsense."
The inspiration behind this phrase came from a personal experience I had during the summer. Someone had assumed I had a certain personality based on something I wore and I realized I wanted my clothes to speak truly about who I am. I knew that I wanted to express myself through my clothing and help others do the same. The parts of us that don't make sense or don't conform to what the rest of the world thinks are the most important aspects of our personality. We should be owning them, expressing ourselves truly, and spreading positivity.
Spread positivity
The goal for this project is to spread acceptance and joy to those around you. Self-expression and owning who you are and what makes you different is a key part of being happy. By expressing yourself and wearing something that would put a smile on someone's face, you can inspire others to do the same. My project is all about loving who you are and putting your wonderful self out there for the world to see. Spreading joy and helping others is a wonderful thing for your clothes to be capable of.
